Euphoria Greenville 2016 kicks off this week: Thurs. – Sun. Sept. 22-25.
Food lovers and taste makers from all over the world will converge on Greenville this week for four days of music, fabulous eats and drinks, celebrity sightings, and celebration of all things Southern food. If you’ve missed the Euphoria Greenville weekend in the past, don’t fret! There are tickets still available for many of the events during the one of the hottest food weekends in the South. Here’s a rundown of the events you don’t want to miss.
Greenville Kickoff Party (JUST SOLD OUT!)
New this year, is the Thursday night Greenville Kickoff Party, 8:30-midnight at the Old Cigar Warehouse (912 S. Main Street, Greenville). What better way to kick off the festival weekend than with a taste of #yeahTHATgreenville? From chefs and restaurants, to craft brews and spirits, and even the music, will highlight the talent of this amazing city we call home. SOLD OUT.
Music lover? This is the event for you! Grab your ticket for an intimate “behind the scenes” event featuring legendary songwriters and Grammy-award winning Tim Nichols, Kelley Lovelace and Jessi Alexander, Thurs. night, Sept. 22 from 7-10:30pm at Revel (304 E Stone Ave, Greenville). Hear the stories behind the songs you’ve been singing along to, straight from the mouths of the songwriters themselves! Fans of country music will recognize their number one hits for artists like Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Randy Houser and many more. Tickets here.
Feast by the Field
This popular Euphoria Greenville Saturday event is moving to the West End! Feast by the Field will take place at the corner of Main and S. Markley this year, across from Fluor Field (945 S. Main Street, Greenville). If you’ve never been to Euphoria Greenville, this is one of two events that I HIGHLY recommend for getting the most bang for your buck. Not only will the event keep your hunger at bay, beer, wine and booze drinkers, grab a glass at the door. This is your chance to learn, taste and imbibe with the experts. Tickets here.
Some of the best food trucks around serve up the best of food truck cuisine in the outfield of Fluor Field (925 S. Main Street, Greenville). Grab a beverage and an armload of plates, then find a seat in the outfield and enjoy an evening full of live music. Tickets here.
Sunday Brunch: Fired Up!
Get your friends together for a smokin’ good time at Sunday Brunch from 10am-2pm at the corner of Main and S. Markley Street (945 S. Main Street, Greenville). Some of the best pitmasters and chefs in the South are cooking up an amazing spread for this year’s family friendly, Sunday Brunch event. This is one of the two events I recommend for first timers. There are all you can drink Bloody Marys, Mimosa’s and beer, fabulous and abundant food, and music to keep your foot tapping. (Drink responsibly!) Tickets here.
