It’s officially Fall, and that means it’s Oktoberfest Greenville time at NOMA Square! They are tapping the first keg of the 4th Annual festival on Thursday, September 29th at 5:30pm. The Holzhackern Tyrolean Band from Greensboro, NC will bring their high energy arrangements of traditional Bavarian songs with a three piece horn line to get you out of your seat dancing and raising your stein!
Bring the gang out for the party. Play some corn hole, and what’s Oktoberfest without the Chicken dance? You can watch your friends embarrass themselves on the NOMA Square Oktoberfest Greenville social media wall. When you hear, “Zicke zacke, zicke zacke, hoi hoi hoi!” yell out, “Prost!” and take a swig of beer. Brave contestants can show their strength in a Beer Stein holding contest, or and those bottomless pits in the crowd can take their shot at the Bratwurst eating contest.
The famous Paulaner Brewing Truck will be on site with their traveling biergarten, fully equipped with biergarten benches, taps, Bavarian decorations, and an abundance of Paulaner kegs. Event-goers can choose from Paulaner’s Munich Lager, Hefe-Weizen, or Paulaner’s Oktoberfest. (14oz beer for $5). The event menu includes Grilled Bratwurst with onions and peppers, ($7) Currywurst, traditional German street food ($7), German Waffle Fries topped with Sauerbraten and beer cheese ($5), and gigantic pretzels served with beer cheese and mustard($6).

7:00pm Time to enter the stein holding competition! Arrive by 7pm to enter. A call for male and female contestants will be made from the stage.
