That, my friend is a turkey leg. Look on down there a bit. Yep, pumpkin cheesecake. You can find these tasty vittles and over 250 other menu items from 41 different restaurants this weekend at Fall for Greenville. Wear your comfy walking shoes! (And maybe grab an umbrella for possible Friday evening shower or two.) There’s one mile of food and culinary demonstrations, musical performances, competitions, and family fun. Fall for Greenville brings more than 150,000 to Greenville’s beautiful Main Street. It can get a little crowded but it’s definitely a good time.
Fall for Greenville has partnered with Charleston Cooks! and The Cliffs this year for culinary demonstrations all weekend long. Local restaurant staff are also throwing down for the ABSOLUT VODKA and Southern Wine & Spirits Bartenders’ Mix-Off to see who claims this year’s Fall for Greenville signature drink title.
Imbibe away at America’s Satellites Beer Garden - 15 different breweries with 30 different craft brews to choose from! Festival-goers wanting to brush up on their beer knowledge can attend Beer School in the America’s Satellites Beer Garden. Where’s the vino? There’s also a sampling of wines in the Marriott Vacation Club – Myrtle Beach - Wine Garden. I don’t exactly think Myrtle Beach screams fine wine, but the folks at Ben Arnold Beverage professionals are going to be there, so I’m rolling with it.
Festival taste tickets can be pre-purchased until Friday, October 10 at 4 p.m. at Michelin on Main, $5 for a sheet of eight and can be used all weekend to purchase festival food and beverages, merchandise and rides in the Nationwide Insurance Kid’s Area. Pre-purchase $50 worth of tickets (10 sheets) and receive one free sheet of tickets. (No refunds if you don’t eat your way through the tickets. Sorry.)
